Individual Therapy
Space to show up for yourself, so you can keep showing up everywhere else.
Becoming the person, parent, partner, and professional you want to be is really hard. We all face challenges that can leave us feeling stressed, overwhelmed, sad and alone. In a world with so many demands and not enough time, it can feel difficult to carve out space for yourself.
You deserve and are worthy of the same care you give everything else in your life.
We provide a nurturing space where you can safely explore and understand what’s weighing on you. We'll work together to understand your inner voices, explore past coping mechanisms that may no longer serve you (plus find new ones), and increase your connection to body and self.
Common issues addressed in individual therapy include:
Anxiety/ Depression
Life Transitions
Self-esteem
Trauma
Stress Management
Boundary-setting
Grief/Loss
Relationship Issues
Work- Life Flow
Identity Exploration

We strongly believe that therapy is for EVERYONE! Seeking out the unbiased, empathetic, trained outside ear of a therapist provides you with a safe space to jump start your growth, harness your own strengths and capacities, and actively sculpt the life you desire. You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Yes! Starting therapy means being vulnerable, something we typically try to avoid. It’s ok to feel nervous- to have part of you want to click the Contact Us button and part of you want to close this tab. We welcome and honor that ambivalence (and hope you reach out!). You are courageous to start this journey.

We utilize evidence-based practices and creative therapeutic approaches, with an understanding that counseling is not “one-size fits all.” Our practice is trauma- and attachment- informed, and pulls frequently from psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and somatic practices.

The first thing we will do is a free 15- minute consultation. This gives us a chance to ask each other questions and see if this feels like a good fit. I will ask about what's going on and what your goals for counseling, and answer any questions you have working together.
Our first session will be information gathering. We will talk about what led you to reach out, your history, any diagnoses and what you want to work on.
In our subsequent sessions, we will help you to explore your inner world so you can begin to understand yourself in a new way. We will help you access self-compassion, hold space for the parts of you that are suffering, and explore how to build new, healthy strategies to cope with the stressors of your life.
